April Fools!
It turns out dogs and cats don’t do the best job choosing colors. It’s probably because they’re color blind. It used to be thought that dogs and cats could only see shades of grey, but scientists now understand that they do have blue and green cones. Because they are not sensitive to red light, their perception of color is muted compared to what most humans see and they have a hard time distinguishing between some colors.
With that in mind, you probably don’t want your pup or kitty choosing your next beads or yarn.
To thank you for putting up with our joke, we’re offering $10 off our pack of six skeins of hand-painted silk today only with code aprilfools2016 at checkout. These were all hand-painted by Mirrix’s CEO Claudia Chase, who is a REAL color expert!
